We’re looking for a reliable Relief Milker to cover every second weekend while two of our permanent staff are on their rostered weekend off. We milk through a 44-bale rotary with a single operator, so the role is well suited to someone who is confident milking independently. Your duties will include: Solo Milking Plant and silo wash procedures Assisting with bringing herds when required General dairy duties associated with each milking Hours Morning and afternoon milkings. Approximately 15–20 hours per weekend. Additional work and hours can be available during the week if wanted. The core commitment is every second weekend, but we’re happy to offer additional farm work to the right person if they’re looking for more hours. We’re looking for someone who is: Confident milking in a rotary dairy, Reliable and punctual, Calm and good with livestock, and able to work efficiently without constant supervision. Experienced preferred, although not essential.

A position to suit someone with 2-3 years of NZ dairy farming experience. Must have a competent  knowledge of pasture, animal health husbandry and daily dairy farming tasks. we are after an honest punctual hands on person who is capable of working sole or in a team. Relief milker required to cover for owner and full-time staff time off. Two milkers required all season in a 28 a side Herringbone. Mainly Friesian cows. Located 5 mins out of Kaponga. Milkings available every week. Happy to work around other commitments. Would prefer some experience but happy to train someone up if they are keen and reliable. need a herd manger or experienced couple to run 450 cow farm located mildest tokoroa. need to have gud experience in newzealand. will have work available for partner.  house will be 8 year old 3 bedroom house. gud facilities. cows get milkerd in 28 bale rotary shed . you will be in charge of day to day running of farm under d supervision of farm manager.  you need to be present in newzealand to be able to do on farm interview. 

Working with our team of 4 we will be milking, setting breaks and monitoring residuals, helping with/managing mating, tractor driving, animal health and farm maintenance. We milk 750 cows through our highly automated 40 aside herringbone shed. Our farm is fully irrigated with Pivots, Fixed Grid and some K line. This position would suit someone who would like to progress to Sharemilking.
