It is a mostly self-contained 525ha farm with a 300ha milking platform; on which we milk 725 Holstein Friesian cows through a 54 bail semi-automated rotary shed. We operate a straw bedding-based wintering shed that allows us to milk all year round. The balance of land is used as a runoff for young stock, making supplements for our wintering shed and growing arable crops.
