Looking for a casual relief Milker, 300 cows, 30 aside HB shed.  Arohena area Waikato, to assist alongside senior Staff or farm owner. 

Must have New Zealand dairy Farm Experience atleast 1.5 years or more to work as a herd manager on a 570 cow farm. Must be reliable and honest. The farm is located in Maungaturoto, milking through 40 AHBS .Duties include  Milking  Stock handling and feeding stock. Fencing and weed control. Calving and calves rearing. Shed maintenance and preparation.  Tractor operations for feeding out. Maintaining and recording animal health.  Other farm duties assigned by the manager.

Unfortunately after 6 years, our amazing milker has decided to move on.  We are looking for a reliable Milker to help us with primarily afternoon milkings but after mating, 10th December, this could lead to up to 10 milkings a week for the rest of the season.  We run a dry stock unit alongside our dairy operation and are spread too thin to do it all ourselves.   This is a drive in position with no accommodation available.  14 ashb, cows are Halter trained. Sole Charge.  Right in the Urenui Township.  Animal Welfare, Reliability and attention to detail are high on our priority, with someone who enjoys milking on their own.

We require a farm assistant for 54 bale rotary 700 cow farm on 240 hectares.  Farm location is around 45 minutes from invercargill and 2 hours from Dunedin. Purpose of the position: Understands and takes responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. Completes tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff if needed. Looks for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business. Milking - Assist in efficient and hygienic milking routine.   Follow procedure to produce high quality milk.
