The shed has Protrack, in-shed feeding, cow collars, Auto Smart Wash and really good cow flow. The farm is 500ha, fully irrigated with 8 centre pivots and fixed grid on the corners. It is split into 3 main blocks, with a herd based on each block. This is not a role where you are just helping run the farm. We milk 420-430 Friesian cows through a new 50 bale rotary shed, located 5 minutes east of Eltham. We require someone who is passionate about farming and who is keen to learn more about the industry.  This position is a fixed term position, finishing 30 May 2027, to cover an absent employee. You will be required to undertake and be involved in general farming duties including milking, dairy hygiene, weed control, animal health, feeding out and general maintenance.
