We are seeking an Irrigation/Maintenance and Tractor Driver operator to fill this role on our 1200 cow dairy farm in Duntroon, North Otago. We are looking for a motivated, hard working, experienced team player to join our team. This successful applicant will have the r esponsibility of overseeing and running the fresh water irrigation on farm, as well as managing the effluent disposal system daily. They will carry out all tractor driving including mowing, feeding out silage/PK and as well as completing any other tractor work needed on farm daily. Also looking after and maintaining farm facilities and gear. To be on hand when needed for general livestock work also.

We are looking for an extra set of hands as a calf rearer on our family farm near Hinds, 20minutes from Ashburton. 1500cows are calved over 2 farms. Rearing 400 heifers and selling all others at 4days old including bobbies. Heifers are fed on an adlib system making the job that bit easier! Our calf team will have 3 people with regular time off.  This roll could suit someone that can travel in each day. We are  dairy farming business based near Duntroon, with properties spanning from Weston to Duntroon in North Otago. Growth in the business means we’re creating a new Machinery Operator role to take ownership of machinery operations across our farms. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys getting stuck in, and takes real pride in keeping things running smoothly. This role is varied and self-directed. Drive in position available 5 minutes from Okato to assist in milking and feeding 300 cows through a 40 bale rotary with cup removers and automatic teatspraying. Mixer wagon on feedpad also experience driving a tractor to feed cows and harvest crops would be an advantage but not necessarily essential. Very easy contour farm with central raceway and cowshed. Would suit someone keen and looking to get into the farming industry. 

We are looking for an OPERATOR who has a wide range of skills. Must be a citizen or permanent resident. You will be a very tidy and well organized person that  enjoys working in a team at times but mostly  by them selves.  The Workshop is very well set up with everything that is needed,  you will enjoy working in a clean tidy work space,  we work on  a place for everything and everything in its place.  You will coordinate the servicing of all tractors ( 12 ) motor bikes (25 ) with the farm managers and service agents. You will know how and  enjoy the grease gun.
