An exciting opportunity has become available for a Farm Assistant on our dairy farm located 12km from Morrinsville in the Kereone/ Ngarua area. Farm is 120ha, Fully flat and supplies the Tatua Dairy company. We milk 500 x/bred cows in a brand new 50 bail rotary shed. Shed has cup removers, auto teat spray, auto draft gate. Farm has two composting barns to house the cows which we feed supplement in using a tractor and mixer wagon. We aim for a fully fed cow using both pasture and supplement. Cow Manager ear tags are used for Animal Health and Mating. Identifying cows and then drafting through the fully automated draft gate. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills/ attributes. Previous farming experience - minimum 1 year. Be capable to drive a tractor - mixer wagon experience a bonus but can be taught.
