We would love someone to join our team on a 850 Cow Farm (predominantly Fresian) , through a 60 Bale Rotary Shed (auto). Farm is located in the Duntroon area, 35 minutes inland from Oamaru. Only people eligible to work in New Zealand can apply. Good remuneration and rostered time off. Duties will be milking mainly and general farm work, with young stock, maintenance/cleaning of the farm and shed. We have Halter on cows/farm.   Cows winter on kale/fodder beet on the conjoined run off. Full training will be provided. Also what we value is attitude, people willing to learn, good communication, great time management, honesty and reliability. We are looking for an experienced assistant and/or relief milker to help us through the busy calving and mating period, and the rest of the season. OAD all season. Cups on 7:30am. 20-30 hours per week - negotiable. There is flexibility around hours and days. Matauri Bay Road. Drive In position - we will subsidise travel. You will be working predominately alongside our 2IC and with us, the sharemilkers. You must have a minimum of 3 years experience working on a New Zealand dairy farm, and have excellent milking and animal health practices. References required. Milking on a 60 bail rotary with cup removers. 900 cows. This is a drive in position. Milkings are from 4.30am un till around 8.30am, Milkings are mostly am but some pm milkings available 2.30-5pm. There is other general farm jobs available for more hours if required. Preferred days are from Friday - Sunday, but can be flexible including other days and weekends off. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances this position has become available for a farming couple ( one position is full time and the other part time ) to help on our 440 cow dairy farm in coastal Taranaki Cows are milked in two herds through a herringbone cowshed  with Protrack drafting and walk over teat spraying , the property is well raced and fenced into 65 paddocks with a good water system

This is a part time role , with the idea that you will be studying while working. Hours will be negotiable.  We are a 150 cow System 2 family owned and operated dairy unit. We have a fixed term position available for someone looking for a unique roll. The position, combines calf rearing, milk harvesting, tractor driving and maintenance work. The successful candidate will be in charge  of rearing 450 calves on the dairy farm, tractor driving/cultivating on the runoff and dairy farm, shifting irrigators and also filling a milk harvester roll on the dairy farm. Experience with tractor driving and calf rearing is preferred. The roll is from 1st August - 1st of March. We are looking for 2 people for a 2-3 month placement on our farms over our busy period of spring/calving August-September only, we are fully staffed outside of calving. The roster would be a 6 on 1 off roster,  It is our busy period on farm as we will be calving 1450 Cows within 2 months. This may suit a couple as your will have the same day off.  We have done this every year and it's great to have an extra set of hands during this time. This is apart of Dairytime Ltd a Contract Milking business that runs two farms side by side, that are run to a very high standard. We run 2 x 700 cow dairy farms in Mabel Bush, Southland, New Zealand.  Each Farm is 220Ha Effective, running a System 4, Producing 730,000MS+ Total over the 2 units.
