We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant with at least 6+ months’ experience to work on a 750-cow farm located in the Milton area, approximately 17 minutes from Balclutha. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking twice a day - shifting cows and feeding  - fencing, weed control - calving, calf rearing - shed cleaning and setup - identifying and alerting managers to sick cows - Setting fences - and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 32, with an average of 50 and a maximum of 55. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.   The schedule may vary; Roster will be 9 days on, 3 days off throughout the year.
