Hi we are looking for a reliable person to assist us over the calving period.  Ideally you would have previous experience in both calf rearing and milking and be a New Zealand resident. Once calving is completed ( end of September ) we would be keen for someone to stay on and help with the milkings every 2nd weekend, covering holidays, herd testing and busy periods.  We milk twice a day until January then once a day til season ends.  This is a casual job but there are more hours available if wanted throughout the season for the right person

We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant to join our team to assist in the day to day running of our Dairy Farm. You will be required to assist in all farming duties including milking, calving, feeding out and other general farm jobs. The position is based just out of Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty. The Position is full-time on a 160ha 450 Friesian cow farm with a 32 a-side herring bone shed. Minimum 30 hours per week with an average of 50 hours per week.
