Moorpork Longfield is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Dairy Farm Assistant for the 2024/25 season.
Key Responsibilities
As a Farm Assistant, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our high-performing dairy farm by:
Performing twice-daily milking.
Shifting and feeding cows.
Managing fencing and weed control.
Assisting with calving and identifying/reporting sick cows to the Farm Manager.
Setting break fences,
cleaning and preparing the cowshed.
Completing other general farm duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
Is currently living in New Zealand with at least 3 years of dairy farming experience.
Is eligible to work in New Zealand (work visa or residency).
Is responsible, honest, hardworking, and motivated to learn and upskill in a high-performance environment.
