We are looking for a relief Milker, or farm assistant to work along side us (3 others) in our 44 aside Herringbone shed with ACRS milking 450 cows, milkings take approx. 2.5 hours including clean up. Morning start time 5.30am and afternoon 2.30pm. We require someone on Sat, sun every week second week. We are approx 10km away from Invercargill. Good pay. If we found the right person, we would be happy to offer a permanent job. Which would require the following skills. Milking Break fencing Applying urea with 4 wheeler Tractor driving mowing etc Wintering feeding in paddock and Barn Must have car and drivers license as its a drive in position.

Drive-in milker/farm assistant who can milk as part of a 2-person team in the morning and sole-charge the TAD herd in the afternoon through a 23-aside herringbone with cup removers. Grasslands operate dairy farms approximately 20 minutes drive from the Tokoroa township. We are after an experienced sole charge relief milker to cover days off for the rest of the 24/25 season and possibly beyond.  The successful applicant will have the previous experience with sole charge relief milking and must supply adequate references 

Looking for a reliable sole charge relief milker who is available to do the odd weekend and/or some week day afternoons. Milking 340 cows through a 40 bail rotary shed with in shed feeding so excellent cow flow. Morning milking usually takes <2 hours plus the wash and afternoon milking <1.5 hours plus the wash. Looking for an experienced dairy farmer to join our team.  Rostered days off would normally be during the week - Tuesdays/Wednesday for example.  We are looking for someone who can step in when other employees have days off and so experience is required. We need minimum 2 days a week, being Saturday and Sunday and up to 5 days. Must be a team player and flexible to help out with herd tests and step in when others have holidays etc.  We have 470 cows which are split into 2 herds. We are looking for a person with a minimum of two years dairy experience to assist on our two side by side split calving 300 cow dairy farms at Waimate North central Bay Of Islands.  The role  involves covering time off for the managers  (3 days a week and holidays) and general farm duties on the other days. We are a halter farm, so you are required to be sole charge during milkings.
