This position is for a Relief Milker . Duties will include milking 385 cows in a 26 aside Herringbone shed with automatic cup removers and other general farm duties if required.

Drive in Relief milker required (no accommodation available) for 4th, 5th & 6th April 2025 then as required after that for 2 days milking every fortnight (does not need to be on a weekend). $120 per milking to relief milk twice per day & feed out as required. 260 cows running as one herd (approx) through 20 ASH. This could include putting up & taking down of fences. Washing the vat & feeding out via feed out wagon, bale feeder & filling & delivering feed bins to paddocks with PK.

This is a casual/part time role - do not apply unless you are living in the area 5 mins from Inglewood - Assistant relief milker to work every second week Friday to Sunday, morning and afternoon milkings Will be working with one other full time worker in shed Milking's start at 5:30am and 3pm and take approx. 2.5 hours Experience milking cows required.

Relief Milker required for milking 480 cows through 54 bale Rotary. This position would suit a drive to farm applicant with some experience as there will be day's when you would be required to get in cows & put wash through shed. Living the dream dairies is seeking a relief milker for the 25/26 season.  Our farm is based on the edge of the heriot township. 30 Kempthorne Road, Heriot. Flexible working roster.  Negotiable rate.  420 cows working through a modern 40 aside herring bone with in shed feed. 

We are a small family owned farm located 5 minutes from Hawera township.  We milk 180 cows through a 22 aside herringbone.  We operate mostly on a grass based feed system and have in-shed feeding and automatic cup -removers. We like to always milk with 2 in the shed. Morning milkings (5.30am) take 2.5hours in spring and 2 hours outside of spring. Afternoon milkings( 3pm )take 1.5-2 hours in spring. We are seeking someone to help us milk through the season.  We require  someone to milk Monday -Friday with the weekends off.  We offer an hourly wage which would be  negotiated and include a travel allowance. This would be a drive in position to begin with, with the option/opportunity of renting our house in the future.  We are a very small scale dairy farm and pride ourselves on animal health and protecting and nurturing our environment. Our farm is divided up around 2 lakes.   We are open to training the right person.

Located 10 minutes from the Hamilton suburb of Hamilton, one of our team, of 16 years standing, is taking a 6 week break. We're looking for someone to work on average 5 days per week to help fill the gap while he is away. We are after a reliable relief milker for our 700 cow farm located between Georgetown and Ngapara. Shed is a 54 bail rotary with cup removers. We are a halter farm, so you are required to be sole charge during milkings. Duties include milking, wash/clean up after milking etc. Causal work other than milkings would be available if interested.

I run 285 Friesian cows threw a 24 aside herringbone on the out skirts of Morrinsville. I'm looking sole charge relief milker that is reliable and is quiet around cows.

Hi there!!! We need some extra help on our dairy farm for a few months to finish jobs while weather is good. Maybe you are between jobs or just looking for some more hours? We have lots of fencing to do and also helping drive a tractor and trailer to cart materials. Assistance with the odd milking (OAD morning only) would be helpful but not neccessarily a show stopper. Must have had some experience fencing. We dont operate a post rammer but have an auger drill. Must be able to tie wire, assemble a two wire electric fence and associated parts, hand ram a post. Must be confident driving a tractor with a trailer and on variety of terrain. Accommodation on or off farm is open for discussion. Hourly rate.
