We are looking for 2 staff members to Join us from calving season onwards. Your main job is to feed new born calves, prepare calf pens, shift calves as required. Give some basic remady or treatment if needed.  Approx 450 calves to rear. There is possibility of some relief milking work for you if you are willing to do it. Some working with animals experience preferred but not necessary. Working hours per week ranging from 30 to 50 with hourly rate from $24 to $30 depending on your capabilties. Shared accommodation available on farm, on a agreed weekly charge.

We are looking for someone to come in and cover milkings through the 2026/27 season so staff are able to have annual leave and get other jobs done around the farm during milking hours. We run a split calving system so milkings are all year round and consistent.  54 bail rotary with cup removers and automatic teat spray so is just one person milking. There will be someone to help with herd change overs and when the red mob comes through so you arent left to yourself. There is always someone outside loading or doing other jobs that if you have an issue you can call on. Hello! I am looking for a relief milker for a 415 cow dairy farm on Oreipunga Road, Maungatautari.  We are milking 415 cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. Calving Starts 7 July, and we milk twice a day all season. The role is that of a shed assist: you will be working alongside the contract milker to cover employee time off.
