A Contract Milking Position has become available on our 445 cow Dairy farm located at Rahotu in Coastal Taranaki . The cows are milked in two herds  through a  46 aside herringbone cowshed with Protract Drafting and walk over teat spraying . The farm is mostly flat with a small number of hills , is well raced with reliable water supply , good calf rearing facilities . PKE and Proliq are fed and turnips are grown for summer crop School bus at gate to both primary and high schools

We are seeking a Contract Milker for the upcoming season starting 1 June 2025.   Milking 230 Freisian cows across 75ha K-Line irrigated farm, operating as system 2. Predominately flat, fully developed farm with good infrastructure including a 24-bale rotary with cup removers, auto teat spray and in-shed feeding. Production target 105,000kg/MS.   Updated effluent system with travelling irrigator.    Applicants will be passionate, driven and honest with a genuine desire to progress in the industry.    The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good pasture management and animal welfare skills.   The house is a tidy three-bedroom weatherboard with heat pump.
