We are looking for a calf rearer for the upcoming calving season. The position is based on 450 cows farm near masterton. You will be responsible for ensuring that calves are well fed and look after. You will report to the contract milkers who will provide guidance, training and support in the role. The role is fixed term role starting end of july and running for 10 weeks , and ia a drive in role located 10 mins out of masterton . 

Due to expansion we require an additional employee to work in our dedicated team. You need to be punctual and communicate well. You must like cows and enjoy working with them. All jobs are shared so there is variety in the day.  Be open to learn about and use technology as Halter helps work on the farm every day and your phone plan will be paid for.  Be confident at operating a tractor mainly with feeding out. Experience preferred but the right attitude will go a long way.

We require a Farm Assistant in Tirohanga for this 700-cow farm on 280 hectares. We run a 54 bale rotary shed. You must have some dairy farm experience, or Agriculture qualification. Your Duties include but not limited to milking cows, animal health, cleaning shed and plant, setting up fence breaks, tractor driving, farm maintenance and general day to day duties.
