We’re on the lookout for a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our friendly team on a 650 and 550-cow farm. Experience is preferred but not required for this role.  We milk through a 50-bail rotary shed and 40 AS Herringbone shed and offer a wide variety of daily tasks to keep you learning and engaged, including: Milking (twice a day) Shifting cows & feeding out Fencing & general maintenance Weed control Calving & calf rearing Shed cleaning & setup Spotting sick cows & alerting the manager and other general farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 50. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.
