We are looking for 2 staff members to Join us from calving season onwards. Your main job is to feed new born calves, prepare calf pens, shift calves as required. Give some basic remady or treatment if needed.  Approx 450 calves to rear. There is possibility of some relief milking work for you if you are willing to do it. Some working with animals experience preferred but not necessary. Working hours per week ranging from 30 to 50 with hourly rate from $24 to $30 depending on your capabilties. Shared accommodation available on farm, on a agreed weekly charge.

We are looking for an experienced calf rearer to help us grow our future super stars! We rear 600 calves and it does get very busy. Because animal welfare is a priority, we are looking someone with great attention to detail who doesn't cut corners and can detect issues before they become a problem. DRIVE IN CALF REARER We have 450 cows to calve on our 104ha farm near Leamington, Cambridge, and we are looking for a calf rearer to join the team to take care of our calves while they are on farm. We will have a mixture of dairy replacements and dairy beef calves through the system. Previous experience in calf rearing is a must and have a real passion for looking after the health and wellbeing of every calf. It will be for approx. 5 hours per day until mid-September.  $26-$28/hr depending on experience. We will need you to drive a manual vehicle to transport milk No accommodation available & we are not accredited employers.

Hi we are looking for a reliable person to assist us over the calving period.  Ideally you would have previous experience in both calf rearing and milking and be a New Zealand resident. Once calving is completed ( end of September ) we would be keen for someone to stay on and help with the milkings every 2nd weekend, covering holidays, herd testing and busy periods.  We milk twice a day until January then once a day til season ends.  This is a casual job but there are more hours available if wanted throughout the season for the right person
