The farm: Our farm is a flat to rolling dairy and beef farm located between Dargaville and Pouto (20mins south    Te Kopuru). We milk 550-600 Friesian cows spilt calving through a 44 bale rotary shed. All replacements are reared as well as hereford/friesian steers and friesian bulls. We have a medium input system growing maize each year and cows are fed once a day on our feed pad over the milking period. The role: We are looking for someone that has a ‘can-do’ attitude uses their initiative in carrying out their day to day tasks, able to work as part of a team and takes pride in their work and work environment. The Applicant: Applicant must have had farm experience in the following tasks: bringing in and milking cows, managing pasture and cow welfare, calf rearing, tractor driving, feeding out on a feedpad, riding a 2 and 4 wheeler...
