With our business expanding next season, we are looking to bring on new staff to help fill the newly available rolls for next season. Some current staff are progressing into higher positions within in the business also opening up their current positions. We are looking for a part time person to fill in the gaps for us during the season. From August to December the work will range from 40-60hrs/week and there will be relief milking available from January until May at around 25hrs/week if the person decides to stay on. Farm calves down around 700 cows and then 70-100 in milk cows go down to another farm. 50 ashb only 4 years old . We run a simple grass with a little palm kernal System 2 operation. Main duties are: Milking, weed spraying, effluent management, fences and the usual helping with drenching, cow and calves, dusting etc. We run several farms and have been lucky enough to help our current assistant who has been with us for 2 years into a herd management position on our other farm. We will always do what we can to help good staff learn and move up.  All calves are on farm for a year then swap when we bring the yearlings home.  Waihi Town is 7km away, waihi beach 10min drive.
