We are milking 720 cows through a 60 bale rotary 5 minutes out of Hinds township. We are looking for TWO enthusiastic herd managers to join our team for the coming season.  We require individuals who have 2+ years experience in the dairy industry. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; Milking Animal health treatments Break fencing  Tractor driving  Weed control/ spraying Calving General farm tasks The roster would be 6 on 2 off during the calving period and 8 on 2 off, 8 on 3 off for the rest of the season.  There is a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom home available. We require a Herd Manager to join our team from the start of the 2025 dairy season.  Five minutes from Temuka, South Canterbury our farm milks 700 Kiwi-cross, Friesian and Jersey cows. The farm is certified for best practice farming.  With 95% of the farm under center pivot and the remainder k-line, the irrigation and effluent dispersal is well set up.
