We are looking for a herd manager that has at least 2 years of herd manager experience. Must be in the country and have a valid visa. We are putting on halter this winter. We peak milk 1250 cows in a 70 bail rotary shed. Must be patient and have good animal husbandry, able to communicate well, and work well in a team.  You must be able to ride a 2 wheeler. We are looking for a calf rearer to come and join our team of 3. This role will have sole charge of rearing 150 heifer replacements, training is provided. There would also be the option to help with milking in the mornings.  We milk 610 cows through a 54-bale rotary with protrack with smaXtec animal monitoring. The roster is 6 days on and 2 days off, this could be negotiable. Position is from mid-late July through to mid-late September.
