Job Description:
Running the 60-bale shed (dairy) with cup removers and in shed feeding two centre pivots, 10 sprinklers;
Responsible for key aspects of everyday farm work including health (note/treat problems) of our cows and other associated tasks;
You should be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision once familiar with this farm and be in position to supervise/train other staff as appropriate;
Health and Safety standards must be upheld;
Communication, data collection such as herd records, reporting skills are essential;
Always looking to learn and add value to the team.

Roster
Single rotation – 5 days on / 2 days off.
Remuneration
Wages, NZD25 to NZD28 per hour depending on skill set held.

Skill set required, ideally
Any qualification (level 4 or higher); OR
Farm work experience (2 years or more); OR
We will consider your personal skill set held holistically should you hold any lower-level qualification that is directly relevant to farming together with any hands-on farm work experience.
