We are seeking a superstar with at least 3 years farming experience and a variety of skills to assist us in day to day farming operation.  We are a couple Contract Milking on the same farm for 5 seasons so far and looking for someone with a range capabilities to take some of the load and help us through next season and beyond. Due to an internal promotion, we are pleased to be able to offer a junior role, primarily on the beef side of our business - but with a relief dairy farming component. Our farm milks 550 spring calving crossbred cows once a day through a 30 aside cowshed with cup removers. All calves born are reared by backpackers employed for 4 months. During the busy calving season the 2 beef herd managers are primarily involved in a farm assistant capacity on the dairy farm. During calving the roster is 12 days on 2 days off, but most of the year is 11 days on 3 days off.
