DAIRY FARM ASSISTANT

We are seeking an junior farm assistant
Located whataroa west coast about 20 mins north of Franz Josef
What we offer:
- 2 bedroom single man self contained cabin (6 months old so fairly new)
- Good working environment with a variety of work.
- Roster 6 on 2 off
- Payed accordingly to a junior assistant role (salary)
- Grass-based system focusing on milk quality and animal health.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes
- Preferably to have the basic knowledge of milking/calf rearing basic experience would be a bonus but not essential as will be mentored and teached under the supervision of the assistant manager and owners
- Hold a Full Drivers Licence (not suspended).
- Ability to work well within a team
- Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and be honest and reliable.
- Be good with stock.
- Able to confidently ride a 4-wheeler motorbike.
- To be Drug-free.
- Able to legally work in New Zealand.
- preferably a new Zealander or some that speaks good English as there is nothing worse then not being able to understand each other communication is key
