We are  excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Farm Assistants to become part of our team and build your skills to enhance your farming career. 

The farm is 350 effective hectares of mostly flat to gently rolling terrain, with some steeper sidling's. We milk 1,000 crossbred, spring-calving cows through a modern 80-bail rotary cowshed. The operation is pasture-based, supported by in-shed feeding systems and modern machinery to ensure efficient farm management.

The farm is situated 20kms from the township of Tokoroa which offers a wide range of facilities and shopping options together with several schooling options.  Rotorua, Tauranga and Taupo are all within an hour’s drive of the farm.

We’re seeking a Senior Farm Assistant who brings:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience milking large herds
  • Strong understanding of animal welfare best practices
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
  • Clear communication skills and good English
  • Competence operating farm machinery (2-wheel motorbike, quad bike, tractor, feeding out)
  • A desire to grow within the dairy industry
  • A current full NZ driver’s license
