60 bale rotary cowshed with cup removers, protrak and SenseHub animal health and reproduction wearables. The farm is irrigated via 3 centre pivots 1 rotorainer and some sprinklers and k lines.
we are looking for a herd manager who can assist in the management of the dairy farm, some of the roles and responsibilities you will be required to do are
sole charge milking
pasture allocation and management
supplementary Feed allocation and reporting
Administering antibiotics and recording treatments accordingly
General repairs and maintenance
tractor driving
we require someone with atleast 1 year of dairy farming experience in New Zealand with an affinity to animal husbandry and wellbeing. A good sense of humour, a willingness to learn and a positive outlook.
a minimum of 30 hours per week is required for this role.
applicants MUST be Nz residents/citizens or hold a current work visa and already reside in Nz.
