We are 50/50 share milkers milking 500 cows, autumn calving on a North Waikato Farm located in Te Kauwhata. The farm is in a great central location, 35 minutes to Hamilton and 50 minutes to Auckland. The farm is  close to Coromandel with beaches as close as 30 minutes away. The farm has a mixture of easy to rolling contour with a small portion of steeper paddocks at the back of the farm. Cow shed is 36 aside Herringbone with drafting and automatic teat sprayer. Being autumn calving we feed cows on the feed pad from March (start of calving) to around mid September until we can fully feed the cows on grass. We run two cowsheds on one property with a support block (young stock/silage) attached.  We are looking for someone that can work/milk on your own with 285 Friesian cows through our 21aside Herringbone cowshed.
