We are 50/50 share milkers milking 500 cows, autumn calving on a North Waikato Farm located in Te Kauwhata.
The farm is in a great central location, 35 minutes to Hamilton and 50 minutes to Auckland. The farm is close to Coromandel with beaches as close as 30 minutes away.
The farm has a mixture of easy to rolling contour with a small portion of steeper paddocks at the back of the farm.
Cow shed is 36 aside Herringbone with drafting and automatic teat sprayer.
Being autumn calving we feed cows on the feed pad from March (start of calving) to around mid September until we can fully feed the cows on grass.
We are seeking a trust worthy, reliable person with a genuine interest in dairy farming, we are supportive with off farm training, always happy to see people progressing through the industry.
