We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Assistant to join our 700-cow dairy farm.
We operate a system 4/5, split-calving system (250 autumn / 450 spring), milking through a modern 50-bale rotary fitted with ACRs and Protrack.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team working on a well-run operation with modern systems in place.
You’ll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day farm operations, including:
Milking
Animal health
Feeding out on feed pad
Calf rearing
General farm maintenance
Dairy farming experience
Strong work ethic and reliability
Great communication skills
Able to work in a team environment
Supportive contract milkers
Training and upskilling opportunities

3-bedroom house available
11 on / 3 off roster will operate for most of the year. During calving this will move to either a 12 on / 2 off or 6 on / 1 off roster to support the increased workload.
