We are 50/50 share milkers milking 500 cows, autumn calving on a North Waikato Farm located in Te Kauwhata. The farm is in a great central location, 35 minutes to Hamilton and 50 minutes to Auckland. The farm is  close to Coromandel with beaches as close as 30 minutes away. The farm has a mixture of easy to rolling contour with a small portion of steeper paddocks at the back of the farm. Cow shed is 36 aside Herringbone with drafting and automatic teat sprayer. Being autumn calving we feed cows on the feed pad from March (start of calving) to around mid September until we can fully feed the cows on grass. Fulltime farm assistant required to cover the Rostered days off of our 3 permanent staff. You will work 10 days a fortnight  as part of the team doing all jobs through the busy spring calving and mating period. The accommodation is one 4 bedroom house to share with our other farm assistant, a young single guy. You must be in New Zealand, and be able to be interviewed on farm to look at the role. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. Looking for a drive in farm assistant. Role will run through until early January. We're based 9 minutes north of Otorohanga. Farms flat contour milking 340 cows through a 24ashb with inshed feeding. Main duties will be but not limited too assisting in milking, calf collection from paddock, break fencing and tractor work like feeding out. We do bales, grass silage and maize silage depending on the time of year. Really just wanting someone who is reliable with reliable transportation. I'll be happy to teach the rest.
