We require an honest and motivated Farm Assistant to join our team milking 1200 cows.
No experience is required however you must be a team player with a can do attitude that genuinely enjoys working with animals.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Milking - Carries out milking as directed and develops correct skills to milk efficiency and safely
Animals - Helps with moving and handling animals safely
Feed - Controls weeds, assists with feeding cows, and calves including putting up break fences
Environment - Assists with operation and maintenance of dairy effluent system and works in line with the farm effluent policy
Machinery - Ride a motorbike safely
Health and Safety - Identifies hazards, understands safety procedures and adheres to farm health and Safety policy
Minimum 30 hours and maximum 50 hours per week
