We are looking for a keen, reliable and honest person to join our team, located 25 minutes from Rotorua in Waikite Valley. The job entails working alongside the long term sharemilker on a family farm with 4 other team members in the day to day running and improving of a 390 ha dairy farm. The farm currently calves 1200 cows in spring through a 60 bail rotary cowshed with automatic cup removers, teat wand, auto drafting and cowmanger.  The successful applicant will need to be a good team player and eligible to work in New Zealand. Hi we are looking for a reliable person to assist us over the calving period.  Ideally you would have previous experience in both calf rearing and milking and be a New Zealand resident. Once calving is completed ( end of September ) we would be keen for someone to stay on and help with the milkings every 2nd weekend, covering holidays, herd testing and busy periods.  We milk twice a day until January then once a day til season ends.  This is a casual job but there are more hours available if wanted throughout the season for the right person
