We are seeking an honest and reliable senior dairy farm assistant to join our team.
Our beautiful farm is located 40 minutes from Tauranga crossing and 10 minutes from Ngongotaha town with great schools nearby.
Milking 650 cows peak through a 50 bail rotary with ACR's and in shed feeding. Team of 3 full time with additional staff over calving.
This role requires:
- honest and reliable team member with good communication skills.
- assistance with daily milking and daily farm operations.
- perform general farm duties, including milking, break fences, maintenance of farm equipment.
- ensure cleanliness and order in the milking shed and around farm.
- be able to identify animal health issues.
- have good self management skills, work well in a team and alone.
- operate farm machinery- 2 wheeler, quad bike and tractor Safely and efficiently
- adhere to health and safety guidelines.
1 full season is required, training will be provided.
This farm is drug free applicants must be willing to undergo drug screening and police checks.
3 bedroom house with office. Fireplace. Carport. Large stand alone garage and good sized section.
