Calf Rearer Wanted
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Calf Rearer to join our dairy farm team.
Our farm milks 1,000 cows on 315 hectares and rears approximately 240 replacement heifers each year. This role involves feeding and caring for calves, monitoring animal health, maintaining clean calf-rearing facilities, and helping ensure calves achieve excellent growth and welfare standards.

Our dairy farm operates on 315 hectares and milks approximately 1,000 cows. We run a simple, efficient pasture-based system focused on maximising grass utilisation and maintaining strong animal performance. The farm employs five full-time staff who work together to manage daily operations, animal health, and pasture management.
In addition to the milking herd, we rear around 240 replacement heifers annually to support herd sustainability and future growth. Our management approach emphasises simplicity, productivity, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship while maintaining a safe and positive working environment for staff.
