Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic farm assistant for a 750 cow farm near Darfield. Milking through a 40 aside herringbone with auto-cup removers and Halter going on in July. Has protrack and has in shed feeding. The cows are predominantly Friesian and are high producing cows. We like the farm to operate at a high standard so we expect the employees to hold the same standard. We pride ourselves in animal husbandry and cleanliness so these aspects are a must in the successful candidate. There is plenty of opportunity to learn and support any off farm learning such as AgITO. Experience is not required however will be an advantage. Must be eligible to work in New Zealand so a New Zealand citizen or resident. We will not be supporting visas. There are school buses running past the gate and is very central to Darfield, Rolleston and Dunsandel and is only 30 mins to Christchurch.
