An excellent opportunity has arisen do to our 2IC taking up an internal contract milking position. 460 cows close to Hawera, South Taranaki. Milked through an automated 50 bale rotary shed with ACRs and Protrack. The farm is run by Halter collars, is well set up and in a great location. We milk 420-430 Friesian cows through a new 50 bale rotary shed, located 5 minutes east of Eltham. We require someone who is passionate about farming and who is keen to learn more about the industry.  This position is a fixed term position, finishing 30 May 2027, to cover an absent employee. You will be required to undertake and be involved in general farming duties including milking, dairy hygiene, weed control, animal health, feeding out and general maintenance.
