We are a close-knit family who own and operate our beautiful 300Ha farm located just a couple of mins from the township of Tokaora and only 3K’s to the beautiful Ohawe Beach you couldn’t choose a better place to work, and not just because of the views but due to the fact we consider ourselves to be good employers who offer opportunity to grow your career in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our farm is immaculate; we milk our 1000 cows through a high tech 60 bail rotary shed and we pride ourselves on having a very well-run operation. Our current team of 4 have been with us for 10 years, this is how we know we are good employers. However, they are all very happy doing what they do, so we really need someone who can see themselves progressing into being a 2IC or even a farm manager in the future.
Reporting directly to us you will be responsible for producing the highest quality milk, taking care of our cow health and wellbeing, fencing, irrigation etc but most importantly you must have strong machinery skills. You must come to us with a good attitude, a willingness to learn, have a strong work ethic and be a great communicator and really want to work your way up the ladder.
