This is a fulltime position to commence 1 June 2026. The successful applicant will work with ourselves, farm owner/operator, the 2IC and one other staff member, they will take responsibility for assigned aspects of dairy shed hygiene/cleanliness; animal health; and milking.  The position involves, and is not limited to, feeding pasture/supplements, effluent management, maintenance, farm tidiness including weed spraying.   Be a team player Be skilled in operating tractors and machinery Ideally have had dairy industry experience. Farm Assistant We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Assistant to join and complete our farm team starting 15/09 Our farm is located just 15 minutes from Ashburton and milks 860 cows through a 50-bail rotary shed equipped with ACRs and Protrack. The farm is irrigated using centre pivots and one Rotorainer. This position offers a comfortable 2–3 bedroom home and operates on a 6 days on, 2 days off roster year-round. We maintain a strict drug and alcohol-free workplace and expect all team members to uphold these standards. At least one year experience in NZ dairy farms.
