Join our progressive dairy operation in Westerfield (20mins west of Ashburton, Canterbury). We run a 630-cow barn system where our cows are fed Christmas dinner every day! Happy, healthy cows. Alongside this, we have a further 270 cows in late lactation outside on pasture with an extra diet delivered via an outside feed pad. The farm calve year-round with larger numbers in Autumn and Spring.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking team player to help keep our farm running smoothly. This role will include mixing the cows rations, milking support, calf rearing and general farm duties. You will be required to assist the Animal Health Manager with keeping our cows healthy and well cared for.
