Are you looking for a role with a supportive team where you can grow and build your skills across all aspects of dairying?
One of our team is continuing with their travels after 18 months with us, so we are looking for someone to step into our team at a Farm Assistant level. Milking is twice a day from calving through to mid–late January, then we move to 10 in 7.

If we shortlist you, you’ll hear from us within 2 working days with next steps and an application form.
We operate two farms, one near Methven and one near Hinds, both around 700 cows, with rotary cowsheds with cup removers and in shed feeding. The farms are predominantly pivot irrigated, with the Methven farm also having some klines and sprinklers, and Hinds rotorainers and sprinklers.
Around 700 kg/cow of imported feed is fed during lactation. Calves are fed ad lib in the shed and then OAD in the paddock. 10 in 7 milking is used in the second part of the season, normally from around the end of January.
