This is a fulltime position to commence 1 June 2026.
The successful applicant will work with ourselves, farm owner/operator, the 2IC and one other staff member, they will take responsibility for assigned aspects of dairy shed hygiene/cleanliness; animal health; and milking. The position involves, and is not limited to, feeding pasture/supplements, effluent management, maintenance, farm tidiness including weed spraying.
- Be a team player
- Be skilled in operating tractors and machinery
- Ideally have had dairy industry experience. We are willing to teach if had other previous agricultural and farm animal handling experience
- Current full drivers license
- MUST be resident in New Zealand
- Be responsible and honest with a willingness to learn
- Must be willing to pat our friendly cows
