We require a hard working, reliable and motivated Herd Manager to join our team. As sharemilkers we aim to foster a positive working environment with all team members encouraged to join in on farm discussions. Career development will be encouraged through on and off farm training. It is preferred the successful applicant will have some experience in NZ dairy farming, with great shed hygiene, the ability to detect mastitis and excellent animal husbandry skills. We have had a position open up for a general handy man doing all sorts of dairy related jobs on our farms. Most jobs are project based and are to improve the running and efficiency of our farms.  This job would suit someone who has expertise in different areas and is happy to do different jobs depending on what is required. Some of the work will be urgent depending on the time of year.  These jobs would include some or all of the following: Tractor and digger operation, lime track capping/repairs, drainage, shifting stock, irrigation development/shifting and repairs, cultivating, drilling, fencing, painting, landscaping, building, picking up rubbish, spraying.  A work vehicle is supplied as jobs will be at different locations.  Our ideal applicant: Would be a self starter and self motivated.
