We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join us and our 2IC milking 500 quiet crossbred cows through an older but efficient 32 bale rotary shed located mid-way between Whitianga and Coromandel towns. This is a fixed term role for the lactation only July to April. We are having to re-advertise due to previously successful candidate changing their mind about taking the role on. This has traditionally been a 2 person farm utilizing calf rearers and relief milkers but we are transitioning to a model that will largely use 3 full-time labour units to achieve seasonal outcomes instead. Hi we are a 970 cow farm in Waikite Valley 20 minutes south of Rotorua made up with 2 cowsheds. We are looking for 2 Fulltime Dairy Farm Assistants to work alongside our farm managers on each farm.
