About the Farm
We are a progressive dairy farming business milking 410 cows and are looking for a dedicated Farm Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with livestock and wants to develop a career in the dairy industry.
Key Duties
- Milking and dairy shed operations
- Animal health and welfare monitoring
- Feeding stock and pasture management
- Calf rearing and stock movements
- Fencing, weed control, and general farm maintenance
- Operating farm machinery and equipment
- Assisting with day-to-day farm activities
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking, and honest
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to health, safety, and animal welfare
- Previous dairy farming experience is beneficial but not essential
- Driver's licence preferred
