Job Description

FIXED-TERM DAIRY FARM ASSISTANT – NOVEMBER TO FEBRUARY

We are looking for a reliable, motivated general farm hand to join our team on a 250ha dairy farm milking 750 cows through a 56-bail rotary.

The role:

General farm duties and maintenance.
Assisting with day-to-day farm operations.
Helping with stock work and other seasonal jobs.
Working as part of a small team.

Accommodation:
A self-contained unit is available, with its own kitchen and bathroom. Ideal for a single person or someone looking for work over university holidays.

What we're looking for:

Some previous dairy or general farming experience.
Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in.
Able to work independently when required.
A recent employment reference is essential.

Position details:

Fixed-term position.
Starting November 2026.
Finishing late January / mid-February 2027.
Accommodation available.

This would suit someone wanting summer work, particularly a university student looking to earn some money over the holidays.
