A first time Contract Milking role is available from the 1st of June 2025 on a 73 hectare dairy farm located 11 km from the town of Morrinsville. Contour is flat and 220 cows will be milked for the new season. Production average  is over 104,000 kg MS and is run as a system 4. The farm is supported by a runoff and typically feeds around 100 t DM meal through in shed feeding with 200 t DM maize silage and approximately 70 t DM annual ryegrass silage and 200 bales brought in. We are looking to replace our long term Sharemilker who is retiring after 21 seasons with us. The farm is 77 ha of flat contour located 20 km North of Morrinsville. We will be looking to calve 240 cows for the new season.  last season s production was 72,000 kg MS with current season 14% ahead. We are looking for a self-starter who has good pasture management and animal husbandry skills. The ability to work with others is also essential. There would need to be 2 people on farm during calving and AB. A key feature of the farm is the use of a nearby 46 ha runoff that supports this farm and one other with young stock grazing and supplement (both maize and grass).
