We are looking for a Farm Assistant We are based on the Kaikoura Flat, a short 5 minute drive from Kaikoura township. We milk 950 cows through a 60 bail rotary, with twice a day milking for most of the year. The milking shed has recent technology including, Protrack, ACR’s, automatic teat spray, SCC and milk monitoring capabilities. We are targeting a driven individual that wants to develop themselves, with support of our experienced farm management team. Key aspects- ·        All aspects of milk harvesting and cleaning in the shed ·        Able to use technology such as halter ·        Identifying sick or lame cows ·        Safe use of equipment such as tractor feed out wagons ·        Control of weeds and farm maintenance The role comes with a 5 and 2 roster, and a competitive salary.
