Harakeke Dairy Limited Partnership is seeking a contract milker for the 2027/28 season onwards milking 720 cows peak on 216ha (204ha eff) through a 54 bail rotary with ACR’s, automatic drafting and in shed feeding. The farm is equipped with pivot irrigation and has a reliable water supply.
The property is located 10 minutes from Culverden and a little over an hour from Christchurch airport.
The successful Contract Milker
· Knows how to get the best out of grass alongside excellent supplement management.
· Will have an eye for detail and maintain high standards of stock management.
· Leads by example, working alongside their team and communicates effectively with all stakeholders
· Takes pride in their surroundings
· Is passionate about the dairy industry and being involved in the community.
· Will have an understanding and ability to work with our industry’s compliance and environmental requirements.
