We have 2 positions available for calf rearers near Rangiora. We have 1300 cows and rear 350 replacements in total over 2 farms. The focus is on attention to detail and healthy replacement and bobby calves as well as running an efficient calf rearing system. We are looking for someone to take the lead as a calf rearer, with assistance from our other farm staff. We will be rearing approximately 150 replacement heifer calves plus a few beef calves across two neighbouring farms. Position to start 13th July, for about 10 weeks.  Ideally a 6 : 1 position with Sundays off. There is also a possibility of taking on some relief milkings through the rest of the season if desired.
