Looking for a switched on Assistant Manager (2IC) near Marton! We are  looking for a switched - on individual who is eager  to learn and grow  in the farming industry.  We have  220 cows on 90 Ha going through a 20 ASHB cowshed  with inshed feeding . Due to genuine reasons, our client is looking for a manager or experienced 2IC to help run their 300 cow dairy farm near Tuatapere. Ideally we want someone who has a great attitude and the confidence and experience to make on farm decisions on a daily basis. You will have support from the owners and their team, and the farm has recently installed Halter. Excellent animal health and feeding skills are essential, as well as the ability to operate tractors and machinery. We value health and safety and great communication. Senior Farm assistant position available 30 minutes east of Taupo until 31st May 2027 ( Employment on another of the companies farms maybe possible after this date but not guaranteed). 3 bedroom house with internal garage. 1250 cows milked through a 80 Bale Rotary.  Position will suit a couple with relief milking and part time work on farm available over mating and to cover Annual leave.  Duties will include Milking, Getting cows in, setting up breakfences and general farm work.
