We are looking for a reliable, motivated  and hard working 2IC / General Farm Hand to join our team of three on a permanent, full-time basis.  Bresa Farms operates a 160 ha effective Dairy farm milking 400 cows.  We split calve 50/50 in Autumn and Spring.  We are looking for an experienced person to assist with: Livestock Management - daily milking, animal health monitoring, identifying on heat cows, maintaining a clean, compliant dairy shed. Farm Maintenance - Undertaking general farm upkeep, fence repairs, weed control, water/ trough repairs. Machinery operation - Safe operation of farm vehicles including tractors and quads.  The farm comprises some steep terrain therefore only experienced tractor operators will be considered for this position. I require a fit, enthusiastic person to help with the day to day chores among 2 dairy farms, and 3 dry stock blocks. Duties will include but are not limited to milking, tractor work, fencing, spraying weeds, stock handling and husbandry. Experience is preferred but certainly not essential as a good attitude and keenness to learn will be favoured. On the job training will be provided and off farm training encouraged. Applicant must be drug free and have at minimum a current restricted drivers licence.  This position is flexible around hours and could suit an experienced person looking for a milk for rent scenario, or a new trainee searching for their first step on the ladder. Our farming operation has a lot of moving parts, making everyday different with the ability to either learn or showcase a variety of skills.
