We are looking for an experienced Herd Manager to join our team. They need to understands and take responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. Completes tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff. Looks for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business. Please only apply for this position if you are living and working already in NZ. From July (calving) the time off will be 12 on 2 off. After AI the time off roster will change to 11 on 3 off.

Relief dairy milker needed - great location and community We are seeking a reliable and experienced sole charge relief milker. New cow shed on 18 aside herringbone. Milking 200 kiwi x. Location is an hour north of Auckland and minutes to thriving local townships (Warkworth, Matakana, Snells beach). We are offering regular work with competitive hourly rates and a supportive working environment. Hours/days are flexible.

We require an honest and motivated person to join our team milking 450 cows through a 40 aside herringbone shed located in West Franklin.  You must have a minimum of 6 months dairy farming experience with references to support this experience.  The ability to work as a team member, common sense, excellent communication skills and a good attitude are also a must.  Most importantly you must love animals. MILKING: Managing milk harvesting to optimise quality, efficiency and yield, monitoring milk dockets and an ability to troubleshoot issues. FEED:  Monitoring pasture covers, feed intakes and cow condition.  Discuss appropriate management with senior staff. PEOPLE: Be able to work well with others, building a strong team culture. MACHINERY, VEHICLES AND TECHNOLOGY:  Must safely use and maintain vehicles on farm, as directed by farm policy.
