Legen‑Dairy Limited is a progressive sharemilking business operating on a family‑owned farm. We are a motivated couple passionate about producing high‑quality milk from high‑quality pasture and developing the people within our team. We are seeking a reliable Milk Harvester to support our operation during rostered staff days off.

This is a drive‑in position  between Charing cross and Burnham suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on dairy work, takes pride in shed standards, and can consistently deliver high‑quality milking routines.

About the Role

The Milk Harvester will assist with daily milking and shed operations, ensuring smooth cow flow, excellent hygiene, and consistent milk quality. As part of a small team, you will contribute to maintaining high standards across the farm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Morning and afternoon milking
  • Shed hygiene, plant cleaning, and yard wash‑down
  • Monitoring cow health, teat condition, and identifying issues
  • Supporting the farm team during rostered days off
  • Following all health, safety, and compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
  • Physically fit and comfortable with early starts and repetitive tasks
  • Prior milking or animal‑handling experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided

  • Start Date: Immediate or by negotiation
