Job Description
We are sharemilkers looking for a reliable worker with excellent team work skills to complete our team in Mossburn.
Role:
- Full time
- Consisting of getting cows in, milking, putting up fences
- Experience in animal health and tractor driving would be a bonus
- Capable of driving 2 and 4 wheelers
Farm:
- Located 6 minutes to Mossburn, 8 minutes to Lumsden, 30 minutes to Winton
- 980 cows, 50 bale rotary with Pro Track, auto teat spray and in shed feeding
- Afimilk cow monitoring collars on all cows
- 1 centre pivot with green wash irrigation, multiple K lines
- Rearing 200+ replacement heifers
- All cows wintered off farm
- Team of 4 plus the sharemilkers - great opportunity to learn and upskill.
This position is SHARED ACCOMMODATION with another staff member - house is 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a fire. Not suitable for families. Also can be a drive in position if you are already living locally. Please do not apply if neither of these options are suitable.
